Borneo Fragrant Brown Rice

BORNEO Fragrant Brown Rice/Beras Wangi Perang is a medium-long fragrant rice variety cultivated by the local paddy farmers from Siburan, Bau and Lundu districts in Sarawak. It is whole-grain rice with only the outer hull removed, leaving most of the rice kernel's nutrition value intact. The rice is relatively low in calories, high in fibre, gluten-free and rich in minerals such as manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. When cooked, the rice is moist with a slightly sticky and chewy texture. It is aromatic and tasty with a touch of sweetness.
